Your Journey to a Stress-Free Life
With all the technological advances in the Modern Era, life has become more stressful, demanding and anxiety-ridden. Our main goal at OmUnity is to enable our students to have access to the ancient, time-tested knowledge, tools and techniques of Yoga,Meditation and Ayurveda. Our mission is that our students attain a balanced lifestyle and peace of mind, which is so necessary in today’s world. This will help them to stay away from psychosomatic diseases and mental issues that are so common today.
Yoga and its sister discipline of Ayurveda have been in continuous practice in the Indian subcontinent for several thousands of years. Together they hold the secrets to a happy and healthy life. Recent research has unlocked them to a certain degree.
With our retreats, we endeavor to transform the lives of our students by empowering them with the knowledge of Yoga and Ayurveda. A knowledge they can use to detoxify and rejuvenate their mind and body to get rid of depression, anxiety and stress.
Asanas – The Way of Yoga and Pranayama
Asanas are the postures of Yoga and Pranayama. Taught and practiced in the correct way and sequence, they are the main elements that have a direct positive impact on our physical and mental health. Our experts have intelligently designed the sequence of these Asanas to address your concerns about stress, anxiety, and depression through meditation and breathwork. Asanas also help you to improve your digestion and cardiovascular systems, joint pain, spondylitis, diabetes, acidity, and high blood pressure.

Meditation – Medicine for the Mind and Soul
The art of meditation is crucial for the development of our body, mind and soul and is, therefore, a vital part of training given at our Yoga retreats. We teach a variety of meditation techniques gleaned from different ancient Yogic traditions. The benefits of meditation are immense, and they have been thoroughly researched and documented, both in spiritual texts and by modern researchers.
Different Meditation techniques suit different personalities. Keeping this in mind, we have designed different types of meditation techniques for our meditation sessions. You can explore and decide for yourself which technique suits you best and adapt it to your daily practice. This flexibility allows you to stick to your daily schedule at your convenience, and the benefits of meditation are multiplied through consistent practice.
There are two types of meditation taught at our centers:
- Active or meditation with movement.
- Passive or seated meditation.
We also teach you the different forms of meditation:
- Kundalini meditation
- Chakra meditation
- Cyclic meditation
- Mind-to-mind meditation.
Ayurvedic Euphoria – Full Body Massage
Energy blockages are one of the main causes of stress in the body. The art of Ayurvedic massage or Ayurveda Sarvanga Abhyanga has been around for more than 5000 years, helping to release this energy block in; the body and allow the Prana or life force to flow unhindered. This brings about balance and harmony, and the technique used has been practically unchanged since ancient times.
According to the science of Ayurveda, there are 7 chakras in our body. Chakras are the nodes where the energy channels or Nadis meet. For our physical and psychological well-being, these nodes or Nadis need to be in balance. When their energy balance is disturbed due to excess or deficient energy, then the result is ill health.
To maintain this balance and correct anomalies, a whole-body Ayurvedic massage is done with warm aromatic oils. These oils are infused with different special ingredients and have various properties. They are tailored to the needs and specifications o the person under treatment.
Food Heaven – Ayurvedic Diet
The ancient teaching in Ayurveda states that the right food has the capacity to heal, rejuvenate and replenish the body. In the same way, the wrong diet can harm the body and cause lifestyle diseases.
The right diet intake provides proper nourishment to our body and keeps it in balance. This means a happier life.
The concept of the Ayurveda diet is a unique one. It is tailored to individual needs. Before prescribing this diet, Ayurvedic experts take into account an individual’s body constitution and mind and body types. Certain foods which are beneficial for one person may not be good for another person. Thus these experts first determine your body constitution or Dosha and then prescribe the correct diet for you.
In our retreat, one has the privilege of a private consultation with an Ayurvedic doctor to make you aware of the right foods for you.
